This tour starts from Kigali Rwanda and ends in Entebbe- Uganda. You are to visit many destinations including; Nyungwe Forest National Park for a canopy walk and chimpanzee trekking, visit Volcanoes National Park to track the mountain gorillas or Golden Monkey tracking, Bwindi impenetrable national park for mountain gorillas or a community walk, go to Queen Elizabeth National Park for several game drives and a famous boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, proceed to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee trekking as well as a visit to Bigodi wetland. Drive to Murchison falls national Park for game viewing and a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. This same tour takes you to Jinja town to visit the source of the Nile and enjoy white water rafting or you can opt to visit Ngamba Island to view the orphaned chimpanzees in Lake Victoria.

Day 1: Arrival and drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Upon your arrival at the Airport, your guide welcomes you and briefs you about the whole safari. Depending on your time of arrival, you might visit the genocide memorial grounds before driving to Nyungwe Forest National Park for an overnight and Dinner at Nyungwe Forest Lodge(luxury)/Nyungwe Top Hill Hotel (mid-range)/ Gisakura Hotel (Budget)- Meal Plan- Full board
Day 2: Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking & canopy walk
Have breakfast at the lodge and then transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park headquarters for the briefing about the dos and donts of chimpanzee trekking with in the forest. These chimps are semi habituated and you will need to wake up so early to have a chance of spotting them. You can as well go for a canopy walk which will enable you to view many bird species as well as monkeys. After, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge(luxury)/Nyungwe Top Hill Hotel (mid-range)/ Gisakura Hotel (Budget)- Meal Plan- Full board
Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Have breakfast at the lodge and then transfer to Volcanoes National Park famous for Mountain gorillas. You will have lunch enroute and arrive late afternoon. Check in to the lodge and have dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla Lodge(Luxury)/La bamboo Gorilla Lodge(mid-range)/Kinigi Guest House(budget)- Meal Plan: Full Board
Day 4: Gorilla trekking & a community walk
Have breakfast early in the morning and then proceed to the park headquarters to have a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. This activity takes you into the beauty of the rain forest where you are to see many bird species, golden monkeys, buffaloes, and the African elephants. Once you find these endangered species, you are given 1 hour to interact with them as you take some photos. After, return to the lodge for a late lunch as you prepare to explore the nearby villages near to the park. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight as above.
Day 5: Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national Park
After having breakfast at the lodge, drive to Bwindi impenetrable National Park by crossing the border through Cyanika and then drive straight to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight at Buhoma Lodge(luxury)/ Silverback Lodge(mid-range)/ Buhoma community Rest Camp(budget)- Meal Plan: Full board.
Day 6: Gorilla trekking & a community walk to the Batwa people
Have breakfast at the lodge, your guide drives you to the park headquarters where you are to receive briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. After, the game rangers will escort to start your search for the mountain gorillas, along the way, you are to meet a lot of vegetation cover including; lowland and Montane vegetation zones. There are many other animal species that you are to view including; chimpanzees, antelopes, elephants, as well as birds. With the help of rangers, you will search these endangered species by following different routes, once you find them, you are given one hour to interact with them however with in a distance of eight meters from them. You are free to take photos of them but with no flash in the camera. After, the rangers escort you back to the lodge to have your lunch.
After lunch, proceed for a community walk to explore the nearby communities and get to interact with them. You get a chance of buying some souvenirs from the local shops managed by the local people from the community. After, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight at Buhoma Lodge (luxury)/ Silverback Lodge(mid-range)/Buhoma Community Rest Camp(Budget)- Meal Plan: Full Board.
Day 7: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park & have an evening game drive
This morning, after breakfast, you will depart to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you enjoy the great scenery along the way. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and game drive in the Kasenyi plains for savannah wildlife including; antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, birds as well as lions and leopards. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari Lodge(luxury)Buffalo safari Lodge(mid-range)/Bush Lodge(budget)- Meal Plan: Full board.
Day 8: Morning game drive & afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel
After having breakfast, depart for a morning game drive where you are to see many animal species including antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, birds as well as lions and leopards. After return back at the lodge for lunch as you prepare for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you are to see many water animals including the crocodiles, hippos, water birds and many more. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 9: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After your breakfast, drive to the northern bank of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search for the wild animals including the elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, savanna birds, water bucks, kobs, lions and many more. After start your drive to Kibale National park famous for chimpanzees and many other primate species. Upon your arrival at the lodge, check and spend your overnight at Kyaninga safari Lodge (luxury)/ Primate lodge (mid-range)/kibale Forest camp(budget)-Meal plan: Full board
Day 10: chimpanzee trekking & a visit to Bigodi wetland
After having breakfast in the morning, drive to the park headquarters to be briefed about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. After, you will follow the rangers who will help you search for these great chimps. During the walk, you have a chance of seeing many primate species including; monkeys, elephants, birds and many more. After lunch, proceed with your visit to Bigodi wetland to see more primates as well as bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight as above.
Day 11: Transfer to Murchison falls national Park
Have breakfast at the lodge and then start your drive to Murchison falls national park, enjoy the different scenic views along the way. Have lunch as you travel, upon your arrival, check in to the lodge and relax for the evening. Dinner and overnight at Paara Safari Lodge(luxury)/Murchison River Lodge(midrange)/Heritage Lodge(Budget)- Meal Plan: Full Board
Day 12: Morning game drive & an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
Breakfast in the morning and then proceed for a morning game drive in the park to view many wild animals including; lions, water bucks, warthogs, antelopes, kobs, elands, elephants, and many birds. Return to the lodge for your lunch and then proceed for a boat cruise to the bottom of the Nile where you are view many water animals including hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles as well as water birds. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 13: Transfer to Kampala via Zziwa Rhino sanctuary & drive back to Kampala.
Have breakfast at the lodge and then drive to Zziwa Rhino sanctuary to do some tracking, have your lunch here and the drive to Entebbe for your overnight at Protea Hotel(luxury)/Kiribu Guest House/ Boma Guest House. Meal Plan: Half board
Day 14: Visit Ngamba chimpanzee sanctuary and Relax at the shores of Lake Victoria.
Drive to UWEC, take a boat to Ngamba Island to feed the orphaned chimpanzees found on this island. You have lunch here and explore the island in the afternoon before boarding the board back to UWEC. Later in the evening, relax at the shores of the lake before returning to your hotel for a night.
Day 15: Departure
After breakfast, the guide will be around to drive you to the airport to catch your flight back home.
