This safari starts and ends at Entebbe International Airport. The tour includes a gorilla permit worth $700 per person in the final costing. Bwindi impenetrable National park is famous for the endangered mountain gorillas totaling to 600 individuals in number. This national Park lies in southwestern Uganda just on the edge of the Rift Valley. Apart from the mountain gorillas, this national park harbors many other animal species including; chimpanzees, birds, elephants as well as antelopes. You will as well rest at Lake Bunyonyi after your trek.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national Park

Upon your arrival at the airport, your guide welcomes you and briefs you about your safari in Uganda and he will directly drive you to Bwindi impenetrable National Park having a stopover at the Equator for some experiments and lunch at Igongo cultural Centre. After lunch, proceed with your drive to Bwindi, upon your arrival at the lodge, check in and relax for the lodge as you wait for dinner. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge (luxury)/ Silverback Lodge(mid-range)/Buhoma Community Rest Camp. (budget)- Meal Plan-Full Board

 

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast at the lodge, your guide drives you to the park headquarters where you are to receive briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. After, the game rangers will escort to start your search for the mountain gorillas, along the way, you are to meet a lot of vegetation cover including; lowland and Montane vegetation zones. There are many other animal species that you are to view including; chimpanzees, antelopes, elephants, as well as birds.  With the help of rangers, you will search these endangered species by following different routes, once you find them, you are given one hour to interact with them however with in a distance of eight meters from them. You are free to take photos of them but with no flash in the camera. After, the rangers escort you back to the lodge to have your lunch.

After enjoying lunch, drive to Lake Bunyonyi where you relax the whole afternoon along the Lake shores. Dinner and overnight at Bird Nest Lodge(luxury) Arcadia Cottages (Mid-range) Bunyonyi Overland Resort(budget). Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 3: Canoe Ride & Departure

Have breakfast in the morning at the lodge, proceed for a canoe Ride on Lake Bunyonyi to be able to explore the many islands that are found on this great lake. After, return to the lodge and have an early lunch before checking out to start your drive back to Kampala. Have a stop at Igongo Cultural Centre to be able to visit the museum and experience the culture of the Banyankole people. After, proceed with your drive to Kampala arriving late afternoon. The Guide will drop you at the Airport to catch your departure flight.
