The safari starts in Bujumbura Airport and ends in Kampala Uganda. it takes to the most magnificent destinations including; Kalera waterfalls, Nyungwe Forest National Park, Kigali city, Nyiragongo Volcano, Bwindi impenetrable national park, Queen Elizabeth national Park as well as Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 1:  Arrival at Bujumbura airport.

 Day 2: visit Kalera Waterfalls and Burundi National Museum-(3hours Drive)

Day 3: Early morning transfer to Nyungwe Forest- Night (6 Hours Drive)

Day 4: chimpanzee tracking – after Lunch Transfer to Butare (3 hours Drive)

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali Visit Rwanda National museum and the Genocide memorial site- (3 Hours Drive)-

Day 6: Transfer To Gisenyi- Be entertained by Intore dancers in Gisenyi-  (4 Hours Drive)

Day 7: Transfer to Goma- Nyiragongo Active Volcano climbing.

Day 8: Back from the volcano- Transfer to bwindi national park- Uganda. (9 Hours Drive)

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking experience

Day 10: Morning after breakfast- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. (4 hours Drive)

Day 11: Morning Game drive in Queen Elizabeth and boat cruise along kazinga channel.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake mburo national park enrout visit to  Kitagata Hot Springs 5 hrs drive.

Day 13: Transfer to Jinja- visit real source of river Nile 8 hrs drive.

Day 14: Visit source of river Nile and transfer to Kampala. - 2 hrs drive. later transfer to Entebbe international airport for your flights back home.

Day 1:  Arrival at Bujumbura airport.

Upon your arrival you will be welcomed by our Driver and local guide – transfer to the Hotel- Briefing- After Lunch we visit the mausoleum of Prince Louis Rwagasore, a hero of the independence of Burundi. We then climb to the “Belvedere” on the top of the hill, a dominating point of Bujumbura, offering a unique view over Lake Tanganyika- Be Entertained by le ’’Les tambourinaires du Burundi’’ or Burundi Drummers. Day 2:. visit Kalera Waterfalls and Burundi National Museum-(3hours Drive)

After an early breakfast– Drive ten kilometres south to visit “la pierre de Stanley et Livingstone” the commemorating stone of the place where the famous explorers Stanley and Livingstone rested during their attempt to find the source of the Nile; After we drive to Gitega to visit the Burundi National Museum before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Bujumbura. Day 3: Early morning transfer to Nyungwe Forest- Night (6 Hours Drive)

After Breakfast drive to Nyungwe forest national park in Rwanda- We will pass through magnificent views of the beautiful hilly countryside which gives Rwanda its name as “a country of a thousand hills”- Arrive at Lunch time- After lunch we start the trekking in the forest to find the Blue monkeys, Angolan Colobus monkeys and canopy walk- Overnight at Gisakura Lodge. (budget hotel) or Hill top view hotel. (Mid-range Hotel)




Day 4: chimpanzee tracking – after Lunch Transfer to Butare (3 hours Drive)

Early in the morning, you will be taken for briefing at the park headquarters. You will be told the do’s and don’ts while with the chimps before entering the forest. Enjoy them feeding, playing around while taking observations and photographs later After lunch Transfer to Butare where you will visit the Historical Museum of Rwanda- Overnight. ( Mid Hotel: Ibis hotel /the only option)


Day 5:Transfer to Kigali Visit Rwanda National museum and the Genocide memorial site- (3 Hours Drive)-

After breakfast- visit the Rwandan national Museum- Transfer to Kigali where You will Visit Rwanda Genocide Memorial to understand what happened in Rwanda in 1994 a year in which 1 million people died within 100 days. The National Museum in Butare was donated in 1989 by the Belgium government and gave back a part of the ethnographic collection acquired during the colonial period. The design and concept of the museum was realized in co-operation with the Royal Museum for Central Africa of Tervuren , Belgium . The modern building has different sections and displays a wide collection of monochrome pictures, traditional artifacts and objects, tools and different craft products. Ethnographic objects are grouped together according to theme giving excellent information on the daily life. Traditional ceramics and basketry are still manufactured and belong to the finest handicrafts of the region. The National Museum remained surprisingly untouched during the civil war in 1994.dinner and overnight at Hotel Chez Lando,( mid-range) or step town motel (budget)


Day 6: Transfer To Gisenyi- Be entertained by Intore dancers in Gisenyi-  (4 Hours Drive)

After Breakfast- Visit the Genocide Memorial Museum then Drive to Gisenyi town at the shore of the Lake Kivu- we will have a stopover in Ruhengeri for lunch at Muhabura Hotel. After lunch drive to Gisenyi where you will have a spectacular performance of the Intore Traditional dancers. The performance is regarded by many as one of the highlights of their tour in Rwanda.The “Intore”, once the elite of the traditional Rwanda army, were not only trained as military but also in high jump and dance. They were known for their remarkable technique allowing them to jump over 2m40. The Intore became worldwide famous as dancers in 1958 when the World Expo was held in Brussels. Today Intore dancers are part of the rich Rwanda folklore. The warriors dance is a jewel of the choreographic heritage of Rwanda. Dressed with a mane made of sisal fibre, Tied up on ankles, little bells jingle on each step, giving the warriors dance a thrilling rhythm. Throughout the Intore ballet, physical confrontation turns into artistic rivalry and then at “the end” comes out into a vigorous hug of the warriors. This is the most artistic gesture of friendship mutual aid and protection. Overnight in Gisenyi (Mid: Peace Land hotel or Bethan hotel (budget)


Day 7: Transfer to Goma- Nyiragongo Active Volcano climbing.

7.00 Am. Meet up with your guide at your Hotel and transfer at the super market for Shopping- 9.00am. Transfer to Kibati Village where the Climb starts. 10.30 Am. Start Climbing- arrive at the top late in the afternoon at around 04 or 05.00 am. You will admire the lava lake all the evening- Overnight in tents on the rim of the giant crater high above the violently active lava lake.


Day 8: Back from the volcano- Transfer to bwindi national park- Uganda. (9 Hours Drive)

After breakfast at 7.00am, Back down from the Volcano- arrive in Kibati village at around 09 and proceed with your journey to bwindi impenetrable national park- Uganda, via Gatuna boarder.  Dinner and overnight at Broad bill forest camp for Budget accommodation or Trekkers Tarvan cottages for mid-range accommodation.


Day 9: Gorilla Trekking experience


After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour. Once this is done, you will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you from 3-8hrs depending on their previous movements.The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the Park headquarter.
This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Broad bill forest camp for Budget accommodation or Trekkers Tarvan cottages for mid-range accommodation.


Day 10: Morning after breakfast- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. (4 hours Drive)

Drive out of Bwindi National Park Northwards after breakfast to Queen Elizabeth National park via Ishasha sector to see the tree climbing Lions. Enroute you will spot, the tree climbing lions, savannah grasslands, proceed to your hotel for lunch, in the evening you can do game drive and visit some of creator lakes. Dinner and overnight at Tembo safari lodge (budget) or Enganzi lodge for mid-range accommodation.


Day 11: Morning  Game drive in Queen Elizabeth and boat cruise along kazinga channel.

After an early morning warm up cup of tea/coffee procedure go for an early riser’s game drive that start at 6:30 we the cats are going back to their hiding places.  Expect to spot common animals that can be easily seen like lions, the elephants, spotted hyenas, leopards and they duck to ambush weak animals beginning to graze, lions, and hippopotamus going back to the water. After this game drive that will last for 3hours, you will return to the hotel for full breakfast before you go for another interesting landscape game drive. Later Lunch at the hotel and relax to refresh as you wait for afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel, good time to spot different species of birds and animals at close range, return your lodge for Dinner and overnight at Tembo safari lodge (budget) Enganzi lodge for mid-range accommodation.


Day 12: Transfer to Lake mburo national park enrout visit to  Kitagata Hot Springs 5 hrs drive.

Have your morning breakfast and drive to lake mburo national park enrpout visit  to Kitagata Hot Springs; the hot spring with magical healing water as it is believed, is found in western part of Uganda in a place called Kitagata after Ishaka town. The hot spring occurs as a result of volcanicity; water is heated in the earth’s bowels and comes out from the earth’s crust to form the hot spring. you will later proceed to the park and do evening game drive after checking in at your hotel. This game drive will give you an amazing glimpse of the Savannah and the 5 lakes. You will also see various animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, hippos, also not forgetting the different bird species on the acacia trees and near the lake making beautiful sounds. Dinner and overnight at Leopard safari camp (budget) or Rwankobo rock hotel for mid-range .


Day 13: Transfer to Jinja- visit real source of river Nile 8 hrs drive.


On this date after your morning breakfast, drive to jinja, enrout visit -Uganda equator where 2 hemispheres meet. proceed to jinja dinner and overnight at Hotel triangle for mid-range or River resort hotel for budget.

Day 14: Visit source of river Nile and transfer to Kampala. - 2 hrs drive. later transfer to Entebbe international airport for your flights back home. After morning breakfast, you will visit the mighty source of river nile, later drive for 2 hrs to Kampala for city tour where you will be able to visit various places like Uganda museum, Bahia tempo, Uganda martyrs shrine Namugongo, Qaddafi mosque, kasubi tombs, finally craft shops and transfer to entebbe international airport for your flights back home.
