Day 2: Kigali City Tour –Parc Volcanoes Rwanda
After breakfast take on a city tour that will also take you around the genocide sites. Lunch break then drive north to Kinigi via Ruhengeri. The 2hour drive goes through beautiful hillsides that Rwanda has become well known for.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Parc Volcanoes
After a briefing from your guide set off to track the gorillas. Spend an hour in awe watching the Gorillas go about their activities. You are likely to enjoy close views of adults feeding, grooming and resting as youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. Return to your lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 4: Parc Volcanoes-Uganda Kisoro
Early morning trek to Dian Fossey’s grave that is on Mt. karisimbi and Karisoke before later transferring to Uganda

Day 5: Mount Mgahinga NP
Early morning visit the Golden Monkeys in the thick and cold jungles of Mgahinga National park. The activity is very adventurous. You will also encounter a lot of other primates plus countless beautiful bird species. After lunch, the afternoon is dedicated for relaxation and sightseeing.

The day begins with a boat trip for sightseeing and birding along Lake Bunyonyi. Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi Islands-Queen Elizabeth NP
After Breakfast embark on your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishaka. Make a stop over to the wilderness Ishasha sector inside the bush in search of rare African climbing lions and other game before proceeding to Queen, arriving late afternoon.

Day 9: Queen Elizabeth NP
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds.

Day 10: Queen Elizabeth NP-Kibale NP
With previous day’s memories enjoys your breakfast ready for guided primate walk along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge. After primate walk, drive to Kasese for Lunch, Enjoy the winding scenery of the foot hills of Mt. Rwenzori arriving in Fort Portal for.

Day 11: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Walk Kibale.
After early breakfast, report at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzee in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. Kibale National Park is one of the beautiful and stunning forests in the Uganda. It is home to our closest living relatives the endangered Chimpanzee, the threatened Red colobus monkey and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. The forest also boasts of having one of the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the Black and white colobus, Blue monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and Bush babies and Pottos. After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. View a variety of butterflies, birds and other insects. Have a tour of the crater region around Ndali lodge. You may also stop over at any tea plantation along the road if you wish. Day 12: Kibale NP-Murchison Falls NP
After a cup of coffee, ready for a drive to Murchison falls National Park, through large farms and large plantations and country side villages. Lunch break in Hoima, continue with a drive to Murchison as you enjoy the scenery of the green vegetation of the rift. Arrive in Murchison and later cross the ferry to the Northern side for.

Day 13: Murchison Falls NP
Begin the day with a cup of African Coffee ready for an early morning game drive. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon you make a boat trip towards the Murchison Falls. Carefully watched by crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, apes and all the other thirsty wildlife that the Nile attracts you go to the bottom of the 43 meters high and famous Murchison Falls, which approaches you with a thunderous sound. There you leave the boat and start your – quite heavy – hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Your driver/guide will be waiting for you to bring you back to the lodge. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

Day 14: Murchison Falls-Kampala/Entebbe
Wake up at 6:00am prepared to take a photograph of the African rising sun in the morning and enjoy African breakfast. Cross the ferry for a drive to the spectacularly situated site at the top of the fall where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected!! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to 1 km squeeze through a 7-meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile…” the Murchison Falls “. Enjoy the sunrise. Continue to Masindi for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking is a must and lunch. Later drive back to Kampala/Entebbe at your convenience. Meal Plan Breakfast and Lunch.

- Gorilla & Chimpanzee tracking is subject to availability of permits, which are limited to 8 per gorilla group per day and 6 per chimpanzee track per ½ day.
- Any Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits required need to be paid for upfront when booking. As soon as funds clear in our account, we will go ahead and purchase.
- Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits cannot be held with the Uganda Wildlife Authority in advance of payment and Rwanda Development Board – they are only secured once physically paid for.
- Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits are always 100% non-transferable and non-refundable.
- There is a minimum age limit for gorilla tracking which is strictly 15 years.
